Sometimes it's good to let your imagination run wild.

Hand wash.

I done this one during lockdown at home. The brief was "Lockdown". Handwash was a big thing especially when demand out weighed supply.  It was quite a time consuming project and hours spent on PS, the end result was worth the hours.

Cone.

This was another lockdown brief I had done at home. I used the waffle cone and the bulb from one of my soft boxes, it was a case of making the best of what you had at hand to complete the project.

Broccoli Forest.

I became interested in tiny world from a brief we had in first year.  my research led me to an amazing tiny world photographer called Tatsuya Tanaka, his work is both inspiring and imaginative. I found a German company called NOCH that made the figures. It was quite addictive once I started collecting different characters. This was the first one I had ever done using a chopping board, broccoli and "Wee Dave". The figures are about the size of a pinky nail so very fiddly but worth it once you've set your scene.

Window cleaner.

Another NOCH figure. chopping board and glasses. I'm going to work on the lighting for this kind of photography as it can make or break the image.

After the music festival.

I used a hole punch that punches out little musical notes from a piece of black card,  a sheet of music paper and the little NOCH road sweepers.

Rice Picker.

Sushi and a rice picker figure.
